I’m hardly an expert hiker — more of a clueless beginner who used to blindly follow trail‑running pros through Hong Kong’s hills. After a few painful lessons, like slipping down Castle Peak into Leung Tin Au or getting tangled by the streams of Sai Lau Kong, I’ve learnt to take mountain safety seriously.
I created the hiking website “HKAllShan” to share easy, leisure‑level routes. It’s simply a place to record the time my friends and I spend in Hong Kong’s countryside and urban corners, and to capture the city’s ever‑changing landscapes — every tree, every blade of grass — while looking for traces of history hidden in the hills. You don’t need to be a seasoned hiker; even a slow wander can reveal another side of Hong Kong.
